FAQs

group experience

I went to Machu Picchu a few years ago as a regular tourist. How different would this trip be?

Very different. In addition to Machu Picchu, we'll be going to Caral, the oldest civilization in the Americas (Five thousand years old) and many other sacred sites ("wakas") in Cuzco and the Sacred Valley. At these sites, we'll be doing meditations and spiritual exercises to connect on all three levels--physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual--to the energy of the sites. While we'll still learn about the history and archeology of the Inkas' sacred sites, the energetic connections we make with those sites also help program participants experience physical and emotional healing, increased clarity on life issues, and spiritual ascension, no matter what their religious background (or lack thereof).

I have always wanted to go to Peru and I know it's finally time to make the trip. Which of the two formats (sacred journey or tourist) would you recommend?

If you haven't been to Peru and you would like to have a life-changing and meaningful experience, the Caral-Cuzco Initiation journey is your best bet. The program takes participants to the most powerful spiritual sites in and around pre-Inka coastal civilizations in Norte Chico such as Caral, and Andean Cuzco and the Sacred Valley. Guided by experienced facilitators, Andean elders, and energy healers, the journey provides a transformational experience in a fun, community-like environment. In short, the Caral-Cuzco program offers participants an excellent introduction to Andean spirituality--its concepts, symbology, and exercises for living in harmony every day.
